On then 15:00 departure, the people onboard discovered a Gannet helplessly fighting a fishing net in the water. The crew decided to try to save the bird. A young local kid, Leif-Otto Thomassen, was summoned to aid Kåre Henriksen (picture) in a rescue operation. Here are some of pictures taken of the rescue.
