How a German tour operator got to know a one-of-a-kind adventure
A lot of people visited Birdsafari a/s during the ”Gjesværstappan Nature Reserve 25th Anniversary Week.” As usual, people from many corners of the world. Gannet Rescue on June 18th
On then 15:00 departure, the people onboard discovered a Gannet helplessly fighting a fishing net in the water. The crew decided to try to save the bird. A young local kid, Leif-Otto Thomassen, was summoned to aid Kåre Henriksen (picture) in a rescue operation. Here are some of pictures taken of the rescue.
