Snowy start of summer season 2008

As late as the night of May 10th the road between Honningsvåg and Gjesvær was closed due to too much snow and wind. In these circumstances, you may meet the snowplough on your way to Gjesvær.

The number two vessel at BirdSafari a/s -  MS Lundekongen (Puffin king)

BirdSafari a/s has invested in a second vessel and renamed MS Meløycruise II.  The new name of the boat is MS Lundekongen. Maximum capacity on the boat is 97 passengers.
