Affordable cab from Honningsvåg to bird safari

Nordkapp Taxi offers roundtrip transportation Honningsvåg - Gjesvær, including waiting for you all at the pier, for NOK 1400 on weekdays.  Extra fare in the evenings.  A small van - Maxi taxi - that can serve eight persons costs NOK 1700.

On Saturdays and Sundays the fare is 30% and 35% higher respectably.

300 meters from BirdSafari a/s you have a dining opportunity you won't find anyplace else.  Roald (on picture) and Elena Berg invite bird safari guests to their restaurant from noon to 23.00 between June 15 and September 15. Three departures every day, except Sundays (two)

Starting on Monday June 2nd, you have the opportunity to join the bird safari every day at 12.30 and 15.00.  Monday through Saturday you may also go at 10.00.  This schedule lasts until August 22nd.  There will also be extra departures in the evening until August 31st.  Please call +47 416 13 983 for possible evening departures if its suits your itinerary better.

Nordkapp - becoming a greater destination

Nordkapp is more than just the northernmost point in Europe. BirdSafari a/s is one of many companies that deliver exciting adventures and things to do in the area. Together with Rica Hotels - BirdSafari a/s and four other companies are handing out an appetising pamphlet to all individual travelers at the Nordkapp plateau in 2008. As a guest at Rica Hotels in Skipsfjorden and Honningsvåg, you can watch a nine minutes promotional film in the reception. Furthermore, you can even ensure participation by pre-booking bird safari both at the plateau and at the local Rica Hotels in 2008.

The local business community would like to establish Nordkapp as a destination with more than just one highlight in the mind of travelers. In this process, Høgskolen i Finnmark (the Finnmark University College) did a survey in Nordkapp in 2007.

One of the questions was how satisfied the guests were with different services in Nordkapp. 69% of the guests at BirdSafari a/s were very satisfied. This was the highest score. The Nordkapp-plataeu scored half of this, 34%.
